Hostage
You're a crook who specialises in holding people to ransom in this action/strategy game. First you have to choose your victim from a selection of wealthy/important people and their family members. As you progress through the game you unlock more potential hostages getting more important as you go from business executives, through pop stars, movie stars, Bill Gates until finally getting the chance to kidnap world leaders.
You must prepare your hideout to hold your hostage. You'll need good locks for the doors and board up those windows! You might also consider ropes or chains or old execution chairs to stop your hostages escaping, you can even build an underground bunker. But all of this costs money and you have to remeber to buy food for your hostage too. Untill you successfully collect your first ransom the budget is tight!
The next step is to capture your victim. This can be a simple as bundling a business man's daughter into the car while she's on her way home from school, or as complex as breaking into a guarded house and getting your hostage out undetected. The richer the hostage the more body guards but the higher the reward.
The next stage is to keep the hostage imprisoned until the ransom is payed. The hostage WILL try to escape. The worse you treat them (keep them blind folded and tied for the entire time) the harder it is for them to escape but the harder they try. If you treat them well they wont try so hard to escape but it will be easier if they do try. Outside forces come in to play too; if you didn't keep your hideout hidden well enough you'll have swat teams to deal with but something as simple as a suspicious postman could also give you away. You'll also have to make your demands at this point. How will you do it? Send a letter? It'll mean holding the hostage longer while the letter goes through the mail. By phone? The cops may trace the call.
You must also plan how you'll collect the ransom. Will you have it left somewhere and risk being watched as you collect it? Will you go in person but disguised and risk being captured? You could capture two hostages and send one of them to pick it up.
Lastly you have to escape with the money. Don't burn your bridges though: did you let your hostage see your face? Did you accidentally tell them your name? If so you may have got away with the money but you'll have to leave the country or you'll be caught eventually meaning game over, no future kidnappings for you! The only way to complete the game is to keep your identity hidden so you can sucessfully collect each ransom and come back for the next one without being caught.
Multi-player mini-games also inculded: One plays the hostage, the other the captor etc...
